Travel and communications technologies have made international business essential for most enterprises. Doing business overseas is not the same as doing business locally as businesses cannot simply apply the same principles and practices in the international arena and expect to achieve success. International business requires specialist knowledge, skills and experience.
The UWS degree in International Business is designed to give you the business expertise and language proficiencies you need to succeed in international business. It gives you knowledge of many facets of international business operations, preparing you for work in undertaking and/or commissioning international business research, analysing international business opportunities, and helping develop and implement international business strategies and plans.
The UWS International Business degree has been developed in response to the needs of the growing number of employer and student interest in global business opportunities. A solid foundation in domestic business education supports a detailed knowledge of international dimension of business, and the necessary understanding of the workings of that market system.
